Roxcy Pearl O'Neal Bolton (June 3, May 17, )[1] was an American feminist and civil rights activist.[2]

At a young age, she had ambitions to be a Member of Congress. When she was 10, she witnessed the lynching of two black men, which was also witnessed by her whole town.[3] Growing up Bolton was a member of the Daughters of the Confederacy.
