Kylar William Broadus (born August 28, 1963) is an American attorney, entrepreneur, and transgender rights activist.
He founded the Trans People of Color Coalition in 2010.
Kylar W. Broadus is a Black trans man that has been a pioneer in the movement as an attorney, long-time activist, public speaker, author and professor.
In 2012, he became the first trans person to testify in front of the United States Senate when he spoke in support of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. He was a long-time professor of business law and workplace discrimination at Lincoln University, a historically black college.
